Dedicating Your Life to Jesus

Have You Given Your Life to Christ?

“There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” — Luke 15:10b

If you have committed your life to Jesus Christ, Congratulation!

All of Heaven is rejoicing and celebrating this moment. 😀

Praise the Lord

If you have not made Jesus your Lord and Savior, I ask that you consider this choice right now.

It’s free and results in true freedom. God wants you to come just like you are, baggage and all. All you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart.

As your guide on this journey to financial freedom, I, too, want to make this assertion: there is nothing more important than for you to understand your desperate need for The Savior.

Just pick up a newspaper (do they have those anymore?), or turn on your preferred news video stream, and you will see what happens when men and women abandon their Savior for the lusts of their flesh. The further households, communities, and our nation move from Godly boundaries and safeguards, the more dreadful things become.

This reality is called sin. And when Jesus gave us the model we call the Lord’s Prayer, He describes sin as debt:

“…And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.” – Matthew 6:9-13

John W. Ritenbaugh says in his message, Passover, Obligation, and Love, “It is interesting to note in the model prayer of Matthew 6:9-13 that sin is expressed through the image of debt, a true metaphor. Duty neglected, a debt to God, must be discharged by a penalty. All have sinned and the wages or penalty is death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). We are all under a peculiar form of indebtedness which we cannot pay and still have hope!”

Are you ready to be debt-free, meaning cleansed from sin? Salvation is free, for the price has already been paid by Jesus: all you must do is declare Jesus as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins. You will be made new; you will be spiritually born again.

Don’t worry if you think you are not ready to surrender. No one ever is. You don’t deserve forgiveness either. There is nothing you can do or give to earn it. All you need to know is that there is only one way, and you can have it today.

“We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus” – Acts of the Apostles 15:11 NLT

If you are not born again and want to make heaven your home, I would like to lead you in prayer.

There is nothing mysterious about these words, and you must mean them wholeheartedly; so, please, make them your own. These words are from the sinner’s prayer that Billy Graham would use to lead someone as they pray for salvation.

So, bow your head and your heart, and if you believe these words, Jesus will forever change your life.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.

You are now born again!
